Representative
We
are looking for an experienced telecom individual that is detail oriented
and likes working with numbers and customers. This person would electronically
submit our circuit orders to all the ILEC's, many of the IXC carriers
and metro providers. They would coordinate the turn-up of our facilities,
frequently with multiple carriers as well as interfacing with the end-users,
agents and resellers. This person would be expected to take responsibility
for a large role in the installation process for our clients by becoming
part of the IT Project Management team during circuit migrations to help
avoid unnecessary duplicate billing and downtime. This position would
be working out of our Hilton Head Island, SC location.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Design and provision circuits to include migration and grooming
of the circuits
• Must
be able to multitask and communicate effectively in a fast paced environment
• Strong
experience with designing T1s/T3s, DSOs/DS3s as well as Sonet rings, and
Internet
• Ensure
faults are rectified in a timely, professional manner while keeping the
customer and management informed concerning progress and status
• Ability
to provide a strong technical role in the areas of circuit installation
and maintenance
• Experience
with RBOCs would be a plus

Wholesale Carrier Sales
We are looking for an experienced Data Telecom Representative to help
us market our Private Line, Frame Relay, IPVPN & dedicated Internet
services to the Agent and Reseller community where the focus is on customer
retention. We may consider allowing you to work out of your location if
you are in a city where we need regional representation. We presently
have a position open here at our Hilton Head Island, SC, office. We doubled
our sales force last year and will probably double it again this year.
American Telesis is debt free and has had 48 consecutive quarters of EBITDA
positive.
Duties
and responsibilities:
• Support all sales channels for acquisition of new customers
• Telecom experience in Data Networking, T1’s/T3’s,
DSO’s/DS3’s as well as Sonet rings, and Internet is a must
• Maintain technical expertise and provide customer support
• Proactively participate in sales appointments with Account Executives,
assist in closing deals
• Analyze customer needs, design, and present technical solutions
for complex assignments
• Maintain communication with sales team managers about marketing
plans and forecasted sales
• Prepare successful responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
• Generate revenue equal to or greater than assigned quota
