T-1 and T-3 service can be broken down (fanned out) to the size required by the customer. T-1 lines will break into 24 DS-0 channels and T-3 lines will break into 28 DS-1 channels. Fan Out service will often be a cost-effective solution when circuits originate from a "hub" location to multiple remote sites.
